About Us

I started this site as an attempt to do my bit to encourage you (and myself) to consider the benefits of leading a greener lifestyle.

I'm an Aussie male living in a plant-filled apartment in central Sydney. Though I love my home town and country, I believe that beyond any city or nation, the Earth is our home. We have nowhere else to live. Our health and the health of every future generation depends on the health of our planet.

I've travelled in over 30 countries and found growing awareness of how going green by harnessing the powers of nature can improve people's lives. Just recently I was in Nepal on a 14-day trek to Kala Pattar (a mountain overlooking Mount Everest Base Camp). Every village along the way has houses and lodges with modest solar installations that provide night-time lighting for residents and guests.
